We are a Tuscan-based boutique lighting studio.

This is a project of boutique lighting studio.
It all begins with an idea. We strive to innovate and create visual worlds which are both forward-thinking and designed to be timeless where the light shade is an artistic drawing made by you or by our selected artists.

In addition to playing with light and being a design object, the lamp can be an expression of an eternal work of art that acquires value over time.

Each lamp we produce is handmade in Italy using only quality materials, made without sacrificing performance and sustainability.

Our lamp has three customizable features.

The Base

  • The base is made with fir, the surface has been smoothed and treated with water-based products. The height is 4 cm while the section can be customized. However, the default dimensions are 175x175 cm

The Lampshade

  • The lampshade is the center of our idea of light.

    You choose the lampshade or better still you can design it yourself or you can choose it from those designed by the artists selected by us.

    The material of the lampshade? Any... as long as it can be rolled up. The material we select is a high quality paper made in Italy.

The Shape

  • The shape of the lamp has a square section (175x175 mm), manufactured with aluminum plates and with plexiglass supports to increase the diffusion of light thanks to its transparency. However for us the shape is easily mutable... how would you like it?

Our vision is to deliver hand-crafted lamps that are in themselves standing pieces of art. They are conceived as design objects that are dynamic, personal, timeless, and playful.

Our designs push the constraints of light designs by transforming them into a piece of experimentation and creativity for our clients. Our adaptable geometric lamp design unleashes the creative potential to play with shape, colour, texture, and materials. 

Our aim is to encourage creativity and freedom of expression in everyday objects. Lamp Jour is a vehicle for design and self expression.
